This remarkable Olive Baboon (Papio anubis) skull is a striking specimen, measuring 8” long, 5” high, and 4.5” wide. It features enormous upper and lower canine teeth that showcase the powerful dentition characteristic of this species. There are a couple teeth missing. The skull is in overall exceptional condition, free of major damage, with an intact cranium and mandible.

Previously, the jaw was hot-glued shut, but the glue has since been carefully removed. The jaw now sits naturally in place, though the very tops of the jaw hinges display a slight flattening from the glue application. This minor effect does not detract from the overall integrity or display quality of the skull.
